Sponsorship Ideas

Here are some ideas (and guidelines) for organizations who want to help sponsor a FOSSCoach:

• Books (like Karl Fogel's excellent Producing Open Source Software or Free as in Freedom)
• Charitable donations for each FOSSCoach attendee to an organization that helps further the FOSSCoach goals
• Distributions of Free Software and Open Source
• Training and Training Materials
• T-shirts

Giveaways should further the goals of FOSSCoach or promote projects that further the goals of FOSSCoach.

This means:

• No proprietary software or services (or training for proprietary software or services)
• No DRM-encumbered software, devices or files

Finally, the FOSSCoach organizers don't have any obligation to allow any particular sponsorship (and are themselves not eligible for giveaways.)
